Kindle Authors: Review of Better Book Description Tool

I had the opportunity to be a beta tester for the Better Book Description Tool, an online service that allows users to create beautiful Kindle book descriptions on Amazon without using Amazon’s own version of HTML coding. If you’ve ever wondered how authors could add bold headlines or color fonts to their book description, it’s because they use an unusual form of coding, such as “<h2&gt”.

With the Better Book Description Tool, authors can write their description using a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, then use the code this Tool generates to copy and paste  into their Kindle book description.  Add bolds, italics, big headlines, larger fonts with ease. And, as a bonus, the Tool also has a suggested format for creating a compelling book description. The tool is incredibly easy to use.

The Tool launch went live this morning and I purchased access for $19; the price will be going up shortly. I’m not an affiliate for this Tool – just a beta tester and purchaser who thinks this is one of the best buys for Kindle authors that I’ve seen in a long time.
